Dry skin only: No water, lotions, oils, or moisture, except for specialized products like Skin Slick or Trislide to help the suit slide on more easily and prevent tears — moisture or other products can reduce grip and damage the fabric.
Roll the edge of the suit: where the grip panels are located so you can slide the tech suit on more easily without pulling directly on the grips.
Trim nails & remove jewelry: Prevent snags or tears.
Sit down: Use a clean, dry surface to maintain control and avoid overstretching.
2. Start with One Leg
Insert one foot carefully, aligning the suit with your heel and ankle.
Use your fingertips (not nails) to gently pull the suit up in small increments.
Repeat with the other leg.
3. Work Up to the Knees
Gradually pull the suit up over your calves and knees.
Smooth out any wrinkles as you go.
Ensure seams stay straight and symmetrical.
4. Pass the Hips (Most Challenging Part)
Use your thumbs to guide the suit over your hips.
Avoid pulling from the top — work from the bottom up.
Sit down again if needed to maintain control.
5. Adjust the Waist and Torso
Once past the hips, gently pull the suit up to your waist.
Smooth the fabric across your abdomen and sides.
Check for even compression and seam alignment.
6. Shoulder Straps (If Applicable)
Insert one arm at a time into the straps.
Pull the straps over your shoulders slowly, adjusting the fit across your chest and back.
Avoid overstretching — guide the fabric rather than yanking.
7. Final Checks
Ensure no wrinkles or air pockets remain.
Seams should be straight and symmetrical.
Move your arms and legs slightly to confirm mobility without compromising compression.
