The IST Swimstart Electronic Start System by International Sports Timing features a portable PA system, a 360° strobe, and tone start signals, all housed in a durable case. Utilizing advanced micro circuitry, it offers extensive functionality in a compact, rugged design backed by a leading five-year warranty. The unit operates independently or can connect with IST’s or other timing systems. Its no-tip feet allow stable placement on the pool deck or attachment to a backstroke flag pole with included straps. The rechargeable 12V battery includes a smart charger to prevent overcharging and supports use while plugged in. A powerful 40-watt speaker ensures clear audio, with auxiliary outputs for extended sound coverage. The bright strobe, protected by an ABS lens, can be used alone during practice sessions to train swimmers for optimal starts. The Swimstart remains the most economical, full-featured start system available.
