Return, Refund and Warranty Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return or exchange an item, please review our policy below.
- We accept returns within 30 days from the order date
- To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- Unused and unworn
- In original packaging with tags attached
- Hygienic seals intact (if applicable)
- Final sale and clearance items are non-returnable
- Final Sale – Decorated Item: These items are custom-made or decorated and are final sale, meaning they cannot be returned or exchanged. Please ensure all sizing and order details are correct before purchasing. Decorated products are made specifically for your order and are not eligible for refunds.
- Please ensure the shipping label is not attached directly to the product box.
- Online purchases cannot be returned at pop-up locations. All online orders must be returned by submitting a return request.
Competition & Tech Suit Returns
Competition suits (also known as tech suits) may be returned only with an approved Return Request, which must be obtained by completing the Tech Suit Return Approval Request linked below.
Due to their delicate construction and high compression, tech suits can show signs of wear even after a single fitting. For this reason, returns are accepted only if the suit is in brand-new, unused condition and 100% resealable.
To qualify for a return, the suit must be:
• Unused and unworn
• In perfect condition, free from marks, creases, or damage
• In original packaging, with all tags attached
All returned competition suits are thoroughly inspected to ensure they meet these conditions. GoSwim.ca reserves the right to approve or decline a return based on this inspection. The inspection process may take up to 10 business days.
Please ensure that the shipping label is not attached directly to the race suit box.
This policy is in place to ensure that every swimmer, coach, club, and family receives a 100% new suit, protecting performance, investment, and trust in our products.
Submitting the Tech Suit Return Approval Request is mandatory before any return can be accepted.
The form must be fully completed for the request to be reviewed. Incomplete or missing information may result in delays or the request being declined.

Deck Equipment
Deck equipment is not returnable or refundable. These items carry a manufacturer-direct warranty.
For any warranty inquiries regarding deck equipment, please contact us at info@goswim.ca before taking further action. We can assist with submitting a claim to the manufacturer, but all decisions are at the discretion of the manufacturer’s warranty department
How to start a return:
Note: If your return is for a tech suit, please review the Tech Suit Return Approval Request information above before submitting your request.
- Click “View Your Order” in the email you received after placing your purchase.
- Click “Request Return” on the order you’d like to return.
- Select the specific items you wish to return, choose a reason for the return and add any notes.
- Click “Request Return” to submit your request.
- If your return is approved and requires shipping, you will receive an email with return instructions and, if eligible, subject to a fee, a prepaid return shipping label will be provided.
- Ship the item back to us within 5 business days of receiving the return label; otherwise, the return label will expire and a new return shipping label will need to be purchased. If you require additional time, please contact us before the label expires.
After we receive and inspect the return, your refund will be processed within 10 business days.
If the return is not approved and the customer requests the item to be sent back, the customer is responsible for the return shipping fee in accordance with our shipping policy. For items where shipping is not paid and/or the item is not claimed within 30 days, goswim.ca reserves the right to dispose of the product.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get a new item is to return your original item first and then place a new order separately. Please follow the return policy.
Online purchases cannot be returned at pop-up locations. All online orders must be returned following our return process.
Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and let you know whether the refund has been approved. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you have not received your refund, please contact us at info@goswim.ca.
Return Fees & Deductions
- $13 return fee + applicable tax for prepaid return shipping labels (where available). Exclusions apply based on product type, including technical suits. Availability and fees may vary by territory.
- 3% return fee may be applied to all refunded orders if a replacement is not purchased.
- Unclaimed/refused packages: $15 fee deducted from the refund.
- Incorrect address provided: $30 reshipment fee.
- Gift cards, Personal Care Products, Deck Equipment and Final Sale products are non-refundable.
- For orders consisting of five (5) items or more, a 15% handling and restocking fee may apply if more than 40% of the items are returned. This fee does not apply in cases involving product defects, fulfillment errors, or verified sizing assistance sought prior to purchase. Under certain conditions or as part of a club agreement, this fee may be waived at GoSwim’s discretion.
- Free Shipping Adjustment on Returns: If an order originally qualified for free shipping and items are returned without a replacement, and the remaining order total falls below the free-shipping minimum, the original shipping cost will be deducted from the refund. Under certain conditions or as part of a club agreement, this fee may be waived at GoSwim’s discretion.
Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 15 days of receiving your order, and we will resolve the issue promptly.
General Product Warranty
Products sold by gowim.ca may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. If you require a copy of the warranty, please contact the manufacturer directly or visit their website for more details. Manufacturer warranties may have limitations based on factors such as product use, purchase date, and care. For any warranty-related inquiries or claims, reach out to the manufacturer directly.
goswim.ca can assist in submitting a warranty request to the manufacturer on your behalf. However, warranty decisions are solely at the discretion of the manufacturer’s warranty department. Processing times vary and approval is not guaranteed. If a warranty claim is approved, a $25 handling and shipping fee may apply. Any shipping or delivery costs associated with a warranty claim, including sending items to or from the manufacturer, are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.
Please note that damage from improper use, care, or normal wear and tear is not covered under warranty.

Tech Suit Warranty
Manufacturers provide limited warranties for defects in technical suits. If you believe your tech suit purchased from goswim.ca is defective, please notify us at info@goswim.ca as soon as possible with the following details:
- A clear image of the original purchase receipt or order number
- Thorough details of the defect (location, frequency of use, etc.)
- High-resolution images of the defect
goswim.ca will submit the claim to the appropriate manufacturer. The final decision on replacement is made by the manufacturer, and the process can take time. If approved, a $25 handling and shipping fee may apply.
Common manufacturing defects include:
- Bonding separation
- Opened seams
Not Covered Under Warranty:
- Deterioration due to improper care (e.g., sun exposure, harsh chlorine, recreational use)
- Damage from excessive pulling, pinching, or pressure (e.g., tearing a seam by force)
